Summer and volunteer opportunities

  • FACTSnet is an organism made up of organizations and individuals interested in networking sharing resources with each other and in most cases the public. It is a network of networks founded by FACTS (Family And Community Twining Society), Société de Tourisme Centralta/Centralta Tourism Society and Collaborative Information Networks. Our goal is the research and development of community networks, through community dialogues using various forms of communication including in person and online dialogue.  FACTSnet has over a hundred blogs that cater to specific communities, such as social groups, and schools.   • Start2Finish is a not-for-profit organization running after-school programs with an emphasis on literacy (following the UN literacy framework/foundational skills approach), social emotional skills and fitness in a little over 70 under-resourced  and marginalized communities across Canada. Want to make a difference in the life of a child? Want to learn new skills? This is for you! We have several opportunities (see below).
