Summer and volunteer opportunities
- A Rocha is an international Christian organization which, inspired by God’s love, engages in scientific research, environmental education, community-based conservation projects and sustainable agriculture. At the Nature Centre, interpretive displays and environmental education programming is provided to local schools, groups and visitors. A Rocha is currently hiring into the following positions.
- Gain experience volunteering in an Edmonton high school. McNally High School is looking for Study Buddies to help tutor students. - Start2Finish is a not-for-profit organization running after-school programs with an emphasis on social emotional skills, fitness and literacy in a little over 70 under-resourced communities across Canada. Want to make a difference in the life of a child? Want to learn new skills? This is for you! We will be needing volunteers for our programs noted below. We provide training and support when you become a volunteer with us. Here is more information and here is where/how to apply to become a volunteer at Start2Finish.
- Brainworx! 10 week commitment (90 minutes/week) plus other virtual opportunities), and

- Rhema Kids Club - online homework help for children in Grades 1-7; Thursdays from 1-6 p.m.
